This course covers AOPS Introduction to Algebra chapters 12-22, including complex numbers, quadratic equations and inequalities, graphing quadratics, functions, polynomials, exponents and logarithms, sequences, and series.  The content of the AOPS textbook is supplemented with the Russian approach to problem-solving. The first hour of each lesson is devoted to learning new concepts. The last 30 minutes of the class are typically spent on solving challenging problems and/or additional practice.

Depending on the students' pace during the year, we may complete the Introduction to Algebra textbook before the end of the school year and proceed with AOPS Intermediate Algebra.
